Ways to Donate

PAWS Cause 
A donation specifically to P.A.W.S. cause is a donation directly to our medical fund.  Not every rescued cat/dog that arrives at our shelter is in a suitable condition to be adopted. Some pets come to us with urgent medical needs ranging from broken bones to serious infections.  These conditions often require critical medical care, including surgery.  A simple notation on your check or comment on your on-line giving form assures you that your donation will go directly for medical care.

Give the Gift of Life

Why not celebrate birthdays, graduations, or holidays by giving the gift of life?  Consider a donation or a membership in the name of your loved one or animal loving friend.  Remember, since we are a volunteer shelter, one hundred percent of your donation will go toward the needs of our furry residents.  We will acknowledge the gift with a special card sent to the individual to honor the event. 

Memorial gift

A memorial gift to PAWS of Tinley Park is a personal remembrance that honors the life of a friend, pet, or relative.  With your donation, we will mail the recipient a card acknowledging your thoughtful gift in memory of a loved one. 

Employee Matching Programs

Increase your gift by having your employer match your contribution to P.A.W.S. of Tinley Park.  Many employers, both large and small will match your donation to a 501(c) 3 by 100%.  Simply ask your employer if they have a matching gift program, complete your employers' paperwork for the program.

 The Gift of Stock
As a registered 501(c) 3 charity, P.A.W.S. of Tinley Park relies solely on private donor support.  Not only will the gift of stock help you save lives, you may avoid paying capital gains taxes on assets that might have increased in value.  In addition, you will be able to write off the cash value of your gift.  Please consult with your financial advisor or attorney for tax specifics.

 WILL Power!
Your will or trust document is the most important and personal document you will ever draft.  It is a testament to the people and causes that matter to you most.  It provides you with an opportunity to make a much larger gift than you ever thought possible.  By naming P.A.W.S. of Tinley Park as a cash or partial beneficiary of your estate, your legacy will be secured as saving thousands of homeless and abandon animals.
